What do I wear on the assessment day?
Please bring appropriate apparel, such as shorts, t-shirt, exercise shoes, a towel and water bottle.
How long does the assessment take?
The average length of time for each assessment is provided below:
1. Winter Wellness - 10 - 30 minutes
2. Heart Smart Assessment - 45 minutes
3. Health Risk Assessment - 1.5 hours
4. Premium Assessment (2 visits) - 1.5 hours & 1 hour
5. Premium Plus Assessment (2 visits) - 2.5 hours & 1 hour
6. Platinum Prevention Assessment (2 visits) - 2.5 hours & 2.5 hours
7. e-Health Assessment – 30 minutes
8. Executive Express Assessment - 30 - 40 Minutes
Where is the assessment conducted?
Most of the assessments are conducted at your work place. Any assessments requiring a doctor, specialist or exercise ECG will be conducted in one of our clinics.
Is the assessment confidential?
Yes. As required by the Privacy Act 1988, all personal test results and details are strictly confidential. If you wish to have a copy of your results sent to your family practitioner, this can be arranged with your written consent.
Do I have to participate in all the tests?
No. If you do not wish to participate in a particular test you do not have to. However, it is recommended that you take full advantage of the complete assessment so that you can gain as much information about your current state of health as possible.
What happens after the assessment is completed?
After the assessment, recommendations and guidelines based on your results are provided to you by a qualified health professional. From these recommendations, you may decide to take up further services to help you improve your health.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Please advise Echelon Health of your need to reschedule or cancel at least four days prior to your assessment date. We will do our best to reschedule your appointment so you don’t miss out on this important opportunity. A cancellation will be charged if we do not receive adequate notification (48hrs).
